on Preduralsky 57 area for geological study aiming at search and evaluation of hydrocarbon fields located on the territory of Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district - Yugra

            Preduralsky 57 licensed area is located on the territory of Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district-Yugra in Sovetsk region.  

The subsurface area borders in the plan are limited by the contour with the following geographical coordinates of its corner points:

 The total subsoil block area is 414,98 sq.km.

The subsoil area is granted the status of geological allotment without depth limitation. Within the limits of the subsurface area there are no specially protected natural territories.

The licensed area is located in Priuralsky oil and gas bearing region, Berezovsky oil and gas bearing district and covers the territory of monocline of the same name. There are 16 gas and gas condensate fields discovered in the district. The main productive complex – Upper Jurassic one with “P” productive layer. The complex united the contact zone of sedimentary mantle and basement – weathering crust and basement fractured rocks, the thickness is up to 100 metres. The deposit depth location is 1200-1800 m, gas flow rates achieve up to 5.4 mln.m³ /day.

        “Sovetskneft” Ltd. - the license owner provides financing of the work complex on geological study of the subsurface area on account of its own funds including the borrowed ones.

        The license owner has undertaken the performance of the following work complex on geological study of the subsurface area:

- to work out, agree upon and approve in accordance with the established procedure the “Programme of prospect-evaluation works at Preduralsky 57 licensed area”.

- to carry out seismic exploration works 2D and perform not less than 420 linear km of seismic lines.

- to drill one prospecting appraisal well.

- to evaluate the current background pollution level of the work territory at the subsurface area.

- to work out and agree upon the programme of monitoring of the natural environment and subsurface condition.

For the present moment the following has been performed:

-“Programme of prospect-evaluation works at Preduralsky 57 subsurface area” has been worked out, approved and handed over to the Branch for KhMAO FSE “TIF for the Ural Federal District” ;

- evaluation of the current background pollution level of the work territory at the subsurface area;

- worked out the programme of monitoring natural environment and subsoil condition;

- developed the Project on the search of oil and gas deposits;

- performed science and research work on “Historic and cultural zoning for Preduralsky 57 l.a.”
